J&K: Suspected drones spotted in 3 places; grenade attack injures 2 jawans, cop

Описание: Grenade attack & suspected drone sightings in three different places threatened peace in J&K. Suspected drones were spotted at three different places in J&K's Samba district. The suspected Pakistani drones were sighted over Bari-Brahmana, Chiladya, Gagwal. Police carried out searches in the Pargwal area of Gagwal near the international border. This came after local residents allegedly spotted a flying object believed to be a drone. A local resident noticed a blinking light in the sky at around 8.30 pm & alerted villagers. The operation was launched in several villages of Pargwal late on Thursday evening. Search operation was suspended late night & resumed at around 5 am on Friday morning. However, nothing objectionable was recovered during the search operation. “We were out for a run in the evening when we noticed a blinking light in the sky. It was not a helicopter as it wasn't making any sound, we felt it could be a drone. It was coming from the Samba side & going towards the Hiranagar side,” he said. “As soon as we confirmed it was a drone, we informed the concerned police station. Police reached the spot & started carrying out a search operation in the area,” he added.
