DJI Neo Drone Return Point Changed – Here’s Why It Matters!

Описание: DJI Neo Drone: In this video, I change the return to home point (RTH). I start off at the initial launch point and walk 400 or so meters to another location. I want to update the return to home point to one nearer to me, so I use the DJI Fly App to open the map and change the RTH location.

Why did I do it? Well, when I am out walking and wanting to film some arial shots with the drone, I don't want to have to walk all the way back to the start if my controller were to lose signal or if the batteries were to fail.

Changing the RTH means two things, the first being that I won't have to walk to the start to retrieve it, and the second is that, if I bring the RTH location closer to me, the DJI Neo won't need as much battery power to land at the revised RTH point. Reducing the distance means that I gain more recording and flying time.
