Divyang Seva Department of Brahmakumaris, Shantivan, under the Theme –Empowering
persons with Disabilities and Ensuring Inclusiveness & Equality is conducting statewide campaign with the collaboration of state Govt. With the grace of Almighty. Seva team is getting grand success.
Its main mission is to do worldwide services too for empowering differently Abled persons through self-realization and teachings of Rajyoga Meditation to develop inner qualities & virtues.
Seva team is visiting to all VI,HI & ID institutions (Specially Disabled Persons) to give them motivation regarding how to face the challenges.
Department has printed Braille Books for Visually Impaired which are gifted to all such Institution’s libraries. Blessing cards are printed to give them on special occasions. Different value based games are played with VI students which help to face the challenges & to test IQ of each too. Talent shows are conducted to motivate their inner qualities, so talented students get inspiration. 3D models are prepared by Divyang Seva Dept. which provide the knowledge of Meditation Course.
For Hearing Impaired people some sign language motivational stories are uploaded on You Tube channel which is getting lot of inspiration. Care takers of ID people are trained by conducting special training programs which are very helpful.
Chitr se Charitra | draw your Destiny Drawing Book are printed by Divyang Dept. Each page contains drawings based on different Virtues.
Mission for Empowering the persons with disabilities has shown a path way to entire state for promotion of inclusiveness and equality in a larger society.
Whole hearted co-operation from Brahmakumaris Centers for each state is praiseworthy. Initially it looked difficult but with the constant training programs, it inspired the resource persons & they conducted perfectly as team work
