This survivor-led webinar was hosted by World Child Cancer as part of our International Childhood Cancer Day 2026 campaign.
In this conversation, young childhood cancer survivors from across our programme countries share their personal journeys, speaking honestly about treatment, recovery, and life beyond cancer. They reflect on how emotional, educational, and practical support helped them access and stay in care, navigate survivorship, and rebuild their lives after treatment.
Their stories highlight an essential truth: improving childhood cancer outcomes takes more than medicine alone. Holistic, people-centred care, care that supports the whole child and the whole family, plays a critical role at every stage of the journey.
