The Democratic Local Governance Development in Pakistan (DLG Pakistan) is a project funded by the European Union and Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom. We aim to mobilize grass root level civil society organizations, local media personnel, citizens and Local Authorities to further strengthen local government institutions in the country.
The main objective, thus, is to improve the quality of life of people, especially the poor, marginalized, and disenfranchised, living in the 15 select districts through a governance mechanism that is all--inclusive, sustainable, and participatory.
The Friedrich Naumann Foundation for Freedom is a creative platform, which helps people make their idea of freedom come true.
DLG Pakistan project is implemented by Centre for Peace and Development Initiatives (CPDI Pakistan) in 15 districts across Sindh, Khyber-Pakhtunkhwa, and Balochistan.
