Tap/balance tips:
*For steps that you feel like you need to hold onto the chair or a counter for, challenge yourself to rely on the support as little as possible - whether that's using just a light touch of a few finger tips, or hovering your hand over the chair so that it's there in case you need it.
*Engage your core muscles. Gently, not to the point that you feel like you are 'sucking it in" or that it restricts your breathing.
Tap is all about rhythms and sounds. If you are feeling inspired or brave, feel free to make up your own 8 or 16 counts using balls, heels, shuffles, hops, steps, or even clapping.
