The interior lights stopped turning on when opening the drivers door on 'Ole Effe', so it was time to change the door switch. This switch malfunctioning will also prevent the headlights from automatically shutting off when exiting the vehicle (i.e. DEAD BATTERY!).
I first attempted to rebuild this switch but couldnt find a strong enough spring to fit inside it, so I chose to replace it instead.
