Описание: Every year thousands of splenectomies are performed worldwide. Spleen plays a special role in immune system especially in young age. It helps protect against many microorganisms like encapsulated bacteria. Those patients who lost their spleen for any reason are susceptible to such microorganisms. To protect them Immunization is a good tool. In this video I have presented a summery of clinical guidelines for Immunization/ Vaccination. Post splenectomy Antimicrobial Prophylaxis is seperatly discussed in a different video.
