This is the NUMBER ONE technique I teach to couples!
Prone Shoulder Compressions:
•
Begin seated facing the top of your partner’s head while they lie face-down. Tip for extra comfort: set up so you can lean your back against the wall and almost straighten your leg all the way with your foot against their shoulder.
•
Have your partner turn their head to one side and compress the other side (not in front of their face) with your foot. I recommend you start with the foot whose arch lines up with your partner’s neck first, for a gentler “first round,” before switching to your other foot (with the pinky toe side aligned with the neck) for a stronger, sharper compression tool!
•
Note: be sure to pull the “baby hairs” away from your partner’s neck before making contact with your foot so you don’t accidentally pull them! (ouch)
