Twists and hamstring stretches are helpful in relieving lower back pain and tightness.
1. Figure 4 stretch - Stretches hamstrings and hip muscles, like glutes and piriformis, and mobilizes the hip joint. Tight hips can cause back stiffness and pain. This stretch can also be done standing or against the wall.
2. Reclined eagle twist - Deep lower back twist. If having the legs crossed is too intense, you can modify by stacking knees on top of each other instead.
