Hi friends.
I shot this video while travelling from Mangalore to Mumbai in VRL Non AC sleeper which started from Mangalore PVS circle 2pm to reach Mumbai Borivali at 9:30 AM the next morning.
Approx distance covered is around 900kms
Bus fare of 1100INR
I did Window ride not cabin ride since there was no space in the cabin to sit. I have covered many small towns and beautiful locations,Bridges.I lost couple of clips i shot while doing the data transfer of the video .Also fell asleep in between so could not cover the entire stretch. I hope you guys will love this video specially the people from coastal Karnataka who have memories of travelling in the buses from Mangalore to Mumbai in the bygone era where there were single roads and journey would take 24 hrs and buses were plenty. Now post covid there are hardly any buses.Only one volvo of canara pinto operates. Rest all are normal Ashok Leyland buses.
The crew were highly experienced and dedicated in driving as well as reaching mumbai on right time. The bus started at 2pm and reached around 5:30 to Byndoor for t break at Ambika Upahara and night 8:30 pm at Hotel Navami for dinner. However there was no Morning halt which helped the bus reach Mumbai on time.The refuelling and loo break happened at Belgaum around 1 am.
