MTU electronic system. MCS-5 RCS-5 PCS-5. ROS3 + PIM test and repair.

Описание: Esta semana hemos estado trabajando en un problema del sistema RCS-5 FPP/B de un cliente de México. Ellos no podían hacer funcionar la unidad ROS3, una de las primeras unidades de control remoto portátil usadas para maniobrar el yate.
La empresa de servicio de MTU local que estaba trabajando en esa embarcación no eran capaces de hacer funcionar la unidad. Después de diferentes reparaciones y trabajos de mantenimienot a bordo, como en otras ocasiones les solucionamos diferentes problemas y usualmente envían equipos para reparar en nuestro laboratorio, decidieron usar una vez más nuestra experiencia buscando una solución.
Les solicitamos los PIM, los MAU y el ROS3 para poder simular esa parte del sistema que estaba teniendo problemas a bordo. Después de reparar algunas piezas defectuosas, os mostramos la última prueba de funcionamiento de los equipos en nuestro simulador ECS-5 para tener todas las funciones disponibles y operativas.
El ROS3 fue una unidad especial instalada sólo en algunos yates bajo demanda, no era un equipo standard, así que no es fácil de ver.
¡Seguramente nuestro cliente y el cliente final estarán muy contentos de tener de nuevo la unidad operativa!

This week we have been working on a problem of RCS-5 FPP/B system from a customer based in Mexico. They couldn´t operate the ROS3 unit, one of the first portable control unit used for manouvering the yacht.
The MTU service company which was working on that boat was not able to make the unit working. After some maintanance and repairs on board, as we solved different problems for them in the past and they usually send parts to our laboratory, they decided to use our experience again looking for a solution.
We requested the set of PIM´s, MAU´s and the ROS3 to be able to simulate that part of the system with problems on board. After repairing some defective parts, we show you the last test in our ECS-5 simulator to have all functions available and running.
This ROS3 was a special unit only installed in some yachts by demand, it was not standard unit so not easy to see.
For sure, our customer and final customer will be very happy to have it running again!
