President Yoweri Kaguta Museveni and commander in chief of the UPDF has advised retired generals to invest their retirement packages in durable assets other than gambling.
While presiding over a ceremony for retirement of five generals of UPDF at statehouse Entebbe, president Museveni said he persuaded the government that the soldiers had over the years worked for no or low pay and now that they are retiring, there was a need to ensure that they retire with a reasonable package
