Author Douglas Murray blasts former New Zealand prime minister Jacinda Ardern’s new book ‘A Different Kind of Power’ claiming her preaching of empathy “doesn’t get you very far”.
“Most of politics, the media and education, is all that, we should all be as empathetic as possible,” Mr Murray told Sky News host Rita Panahi.
“We’re not taught that that’s a weakness; if anything, everyone is overstuffed with the idea that it’s the single greatest virtue.
“I wish Jacinda Ardern had had more self-doubt … because she could’ve saved her countrymen an awful lot of heartache.”
