Описание: In this video, I celebrate Loy Krathong Festival in Chiang Mai, one of Thailand’s most beautiful and meaningful festivals.
I started my evening near the Ping River, where the festival atmosphere was alive with lights, people, and food stalls. I explored the stalls set up along the river, but since most options were non-vegetarian, I decided not to record much there and instead enjoyed the vibe.
Later, I walked onto a bridge near the Ping River and took part in the tradition by floating my Krathong into the river — a moment that felt calm, spiritual, and emotional.
After that, I visited a nearby park with more stalls, where I grabbed a fresh orange juice and took a short break.
As I continued walking toward Tha Phae Gate, I unexpectedly came across a Loy Krathong parade. One special moment was seeing the Indian Consulate’s tribute to Jubin Garg, which was surprising and meaningful to witness abroad.
(The parade was very long, so I’ll be covering it in a separate video.)
After a long day of walking and celebrating, I returned to my hostel early, as I had an early morning bus to Chiang Rai the next day.
This vlog shows the real experience of Loy Krathong — not just visuals, but culture, emotions, and simple moments.
