For this year's Shard Lights, sound artist Brigitte Hart, and composer Rick Parnaby, were commissioned by The Shard to create a soundtrack that captures the iconic sounds of festive London. Synched to the lights to create a multi-sensory experience and featuring sounds from the bells of St Paul’s Cathedral to delightful chatter at the Southbank Winter Market and skating across Alexandra Palace Ice Rink, the track captures the vibrancy of the city and its people in the lead-up to Christmas.
To watch and listen to the show live in London, visit the-shard.com/shard-lights for audio and look up to see the perfectly synchronised display, running every evening from 5.30pm until 31st December 2022.
