• Tony DeCastro, ecologist and specialist in grassland and savannah biomes, will reveal the biodiversity in the region and its importance as a natural ecosystem.
• Archaeology Professor Amanda Esterhuysen is Head of the Origins Museum. She will explain the deep time fossil and archaeological record that has made the Cradle area world famous.
• Andre Wedepohl: Business Development Manager of Kedar Heritage Lodge and expert on the history of the region will talk about the South African War and why the Magaliesberg played such an important part in that campaign.
• Belinda Cooper: Co-ordinator of Magaliesberg Biosphere Reserve has a comprehensive knowledge of the region and will talk about the opportunities and threats of today.

• The discussion is co-ordinated by environmentalist Vincent Carruthers, author of The Cradle of Life, the Story of the Magaliesberg and the Cradle of Humankind.
