The incident took place near Hesaraghatta Main Road when Rajna was on her way to deliver lunch to her husband Bharat at a construction site. Police arrested the accused, identified as Mahesh and Govind Raju, and later found them allegedly under the influence of alcohol. An FIR has been registered under multiple sections of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita, and both accused have been remanded to judicial custody.
