【経歴】
1993年8月21日にオランダのアペンヒュール霊長類公園で生まれる。母親はMouila、父親はKibabu。
イケメンゴリラで有名なシャバーニはハオコの弟。

1996年12月7日にオーストラリア、シドニーのタロンガ動物園へ家族で移動。

2007年6月27日 、ハオコとシャバーニは繁殖計画のために日本へ移動。ハオコは上野動物園に、シャバーニは名古屋市の東山動物園に移動。

ハオコには2頭の後尾相手がいますが、繁殖したのはモモコだけです。
2009年11月14日、モモコとの間にメスのコモモ が生まれる。
2013年4月24日、モモコとの間にメスのモモカが生まれる。
2017年10月9日、モモコとの間にオスのリキが生まれる。

【性格】
ハオコは大家族でたくさんの兄弟姉妹と一緒に育ったので、優しく、子供達の面倒もよく見ます。
ゴリラは一般的に神経質ですが、ハオコは特に神経質なところがあります。


Haoko is a male western lowland gorilla born on 20 October 1996 at Apenheul Primate Park in the Netherlands. His mother is Mouila, and his father is Kibabu.
Haoko's brother is Shabani who is known for the most handsome gorilla.

Haoko was transferred to Taronga Zoo in Sydney, Australia along with the rest of his family on 7 December 1996.

On June 27, 2007 Haoko and his brother Shabani were transferred to Japan as part of a coordinated breeding programme to ensure genetic diversity.
Haoko was transferred to Ueno Zoo in Tokyo, Japan. Shabani was sent to Higashiyama Zoo in Nagoya.

Haoko has 2 mates now, but has only bred with Momoko.

On November 14 2009, his mate Momoko gave birth to a female named Komomo.
On April 24, 2013 Momoko gave birth to a female named Momoka.
On October 9, 2017 Momoko gave birth to a male named Riki.

【Personality】
Haoko was raised in a stable family that included both father and mother as well as many siblings. He is gentle, often plays with his children.
Gorillas in general are sensitive, but Haoko might be a bit more sensitive than most.
