Starting from the peaceful village of Sissu, surrounded by snow-capped peaks and waterfalls, the route takes you along winding mountain roads towards Manali. From there, a short trek leads to Anjani Mahadev Temple, also known as the “Amarnath of Himachal.”
Here, amidst the freezing winds and towering cliffs, a natural Shivling forms every winter under a massive waterfall — believed to be blessed by Lord Shiva himself. The constant mist and chants of “Har Har Mahadev” create an atmosphere that feels truly divine.
