Today we're going to take a look at the low mileage Competition Yellow (23K) and high mileage Aqua Metallic (135K) dead stock original 1996 LT4 Corvettes and see just what engine temperature these cars are designed to reach before the factory electric cooling fans kick in.
Watch as I heat soak both cars on a concrete driveway during a 100 degree Texas summer afternoon for several hours. I'll then start both cars up and let them idle for 30 minutes while parked and with no airflow moving across the radiators. You might be surprised at the results.
