Coleshill is a hidden gem of North Warwickshire. It has an interesting history. It was a main coaching town, has links with Roman times, birthed Typhoo tea and had an elephant come to town! There is an interesting art installation outside the Town Hall that celebrates all those things. There are ‘Green and Yellow Tours’ which you can sign up to that will take you on a tour of the town and give you all the fascinating local history.Coleshill is committed to creating a community with heart and spirit. This can be experienced first-hand by going into one of the many independent shops on the High Street who offer a personal and friendly service. The businesses have formed a Consortium ‘Love Coleshill’ to keep their High Street alive and encourage local loyalty. There remain a variety of retail outlets from women’s clothing, a fabulous mother of the bride shop, books, hardware, shoes, household goods and gifts, together with two great independent cafes and a Costa.
