In this tutorial, we continue our series of recreating buildings from famous architects. Today, we're all about The Kaktus Towers, located in central Copenhagen. These cool residential buildings were designed by none other than BIG Architects! First, you will learn how to design a 16-sided polygon floor plan, set height, and number of floors. Then you'll learn about the logic behind the floor rotation, using a list of shuffled -1 and 1 values. We will go through applying thickness to each floor and creating glass surfaces using loft component. In the process of creating walls, you will learn how to trim lines, trim and manage data trees and finally use Relative Items to loft lines from different branches.

In the extended version of this tutorial, we are going to continue building up our project. We are specifically going to focus on bringing more realism to the building by transforming glass surfaces into 3D geometry, making walls flat, and adding railings on the balconies.

On top of that, we'll show you how to import realistic trees and people from Vray Chaos Cosmos right into Grasshopper and it's going to be a game-changer! And the best part? We'll teach you how to scatter them effortlessly throughout your model.
