As for why I edited with this pair, it’s because they are cute and I like experimenting with crack/yaoi pairings to create something different and unique. Hope you guys like it!

Hiroomi has always felt connected to Akihito, and he believed to have also developed something else for him. But as the successor to the Nase household, Hiroomi knew any relationship with a half demon wouldn’t have a future but it didn’t stop him for developing feelings for Akihito, even when he knew it should be wrong. In the past, he had promised to protect Akkey at all costs and he would stay true to that promise, even if he had to give his life for him.

Hiroomi’s sister, Izumi, couldn’t stand by and watch their relationship continue. She persuades Akihito on keeping a distance from her brother, reminding him of the threat of the demon that he was, and how he had put Hiroomi in danger on more than one occasion in the past.

The scars on Hiroomi’s back was a constant reminder of that time he nearly killed Hiroomi and how it might happen again. With Izumi’s warning in mind and knowing how dangerous being by his side was, he decided it was best to stay away and thus Akihito slowly started pulling away from Hiroomi.

Akihito knew that he was a constant threat and should stay away, but he just couldn’t bear staying away from Hiroomi. Memories and the desires to hold him weighed heavily on his heart as the emotions threatened to burst his heart open, but if it meant to keep Hiroomi safe and not lose him were the only reasons for him to endure the loneliness and the absence of his warmth.

But all this came tumbling down when an unknown enemy targeted Akihito and meant to kill him, and had to watch Hiroomi get stabbed whilst defending him. The guilt ripped his heart open and left him bear with scars that made it hard to breathe.

Alone, heartbroken, and wanting to be by Hiroomi’s side, memories flashed by as he poured out his emotions, wanting to become stronger so he could protect Hiroomi instead.

Suddenly, amidst his confession with the cherry blossoms raining down on him, he turned around to find Hiroomi standing before him, having heard every word, and that was when Akihito felt he didn’t need to hold back any longer.
