Shaykh Abu Iyaad حفظه الله clarifies a common misconception that comes from the Christians regarding our belief in an uncreated Quran; that it is another uncreated entity that exists besides Allah and thus we believe in two uncreated entities. Rather this is false and the misconception lies in the misunderstanding of what a medium is, which is created and serves to only transmit, and what an attribute is, which is uncreated and doesn’t separate from the essence of Allah. This goes alongside our belief that the Quran we hear, memorise in our hearts, recite on our tongues and write in our books is all the uncreated speech of Allah.
