Flyer is a gentle 19 year old stallion who displays a quiet demeanor. He has never been under saddle, but is verbally responsive.
Flyer's pedigree is outstanding. Through his sire's lineage comes a line of stakes-winning racehorses and champion endurance horses.
His sire, DON JUANS FLYER, a champion endurance horse placed 2nd in the IAHA derby and competed in a 250 mile endurance race with a three-horse team. His grandsire, JUAN DE SHAWN, sired 4 stake winners.
Flyer carries lines of Draper breeding. His grandsire, SUREYN-SUPREME, bred by Edna Draper and sold to Laurie Banes, was the full brother to MI-FANCI, a Reserve National Champion and made the 'Top Ten' ranks several times. Additionally, Flyer's grand grandsire, SUREYN, sired the only horse to be named U.S. National Champion in both English Pleasure and Western Pleasure, SUR-NEET.
