And you don't need a license to drive the boat. We invited our friends to have a picnic on the boat and honestly it is great alternative to gather and mingle with family and friends while enjoying the beautiful views of Melbourne city along the Yarra River. GoBoat self-skippered rental boats feature a central picnic table, so we brought our own food and drinks and setup a beautiful picnic table.

GoBoat is the ultimate Melbourne thing to do and a great outdoor activity idea for visitors and Melbourne tourists, birthday party celebrations, date nights, Hen's parties, corporate events and social picnics. And if you decide to try GoBoat we recommend booking at least a 2-hour session which give you ample of time to river cruise all of Melbourne from Banana Alley, visit Docklands in one direction or turnaround at Herring Island in South Yarra.
