• HE IS RECENTLY RELEASED FROM DASNA JAIL, GHAZIABAD, U.P.

Dwarka Distt has taken various initiatives to control crime and criminals in the area to ensure safe and secure environment for not only the citizens residing in the district jurisdiction but also in adjacent areas, as a vision envisaged by the worthy Commissioner of Police, Delhi.

GHAPICS Exercise, under overall ambit of OPERATION VARCHASVA, is being carried out with full zeal and also with co-ordination with general public to ensure best results. Arrest of the accused of murder by PS Uttam Nagar Dwarka is the recent outcome of the mission.

 DATE & TIME OF INCIDENT-

On 15/05/2022 at about, 6:15 PM.

 PLACE OF INCIDENT-

Om Vihar, Phase-5, Uttam Nagar, New Delhi.

 BRIEF DETAIL OF INCIDENT-

On 15/05/2022 at about 20:31 hours an information vide DD No. 153A regarding MLC was received at police station Uttam Nagar Delhi wherein it was informed that Patient Sheela Age 23 Years R/o Om Vihar, Phase-5, Uttam Nagar Delhi, was brought by her mother Sangeeta with history of knife injury vide MLC No 4173/2022. The patient was declared unfit for the statement by the doctor. “Multiple incised wound present over left cheek/right cheek/forehead/chin/neck in van able size and the different plane” were observed nature of the injury was opened, with sharp weapon.
Smt. Sangeeta Mother of the injured/victim stated that her daughter Sheela had a friendship with Vikas. After some time Vikas has gone to Jail in some cases. Thereafter her daughter made a friendship with a boy namely Inder. She further stated that Vikas got released from jail 3-4 days ago.
After that Vikas came on 14/05/2022 and returned after the chat. On 15/05/2022 at about 6:15 PM forcefully entered in the house and asked about the whereabouts of Inder. The complainant interrupted him and told him to be calm. When her daughter refused to provide the whereabouts of Inder he got furious and took out a blade from his pocket and attacked her multiple times on her face. When the victim/injured tried to run away from there, he kicked her and after which the head of the victim got smashed with the wall. Assailant Vikas ran away from there. On the basis of the aforesaid statement a case vide FIR No 357/2022 dated 15/05/2022 U/s 308,452, 324 IPC was got registered at PS Uttam Nagar Delhi. On the basis of the investigation section, 307 IPC was converted to 302 IPC.

 TEAM AND OPERATION-
A dedicated team comprising of Insp. Govind Singh, ASI Vinod, HC Gopal was formed under the supervision of Insp. Ram Kishore, SHO/UN, and overall supervision of Sh. Harish Chander, ACP/Dabri. The secret informer was deployed in the area, spot investigation was conducted and clue of the suspect was developed. CCTV footage was analyzed and the accused has been apprehended in the present case and recovered the clothes worn by him at the time of the incident and the weapon used in the crime.

 ACCUSED ARRESTED-
Vikas R/o Jai Vihar, Najafgarh, New Delhi, Age-30 yrs.
He is previously involved in more than 24 cases of robbery/snatching/burglary, theft and hurt, and BC of PS Nazafgarh. He is recently released from Dasna Jail, Ghaziabad, U.P.

 RECOVERY-

• Weapon of offence Blade.
• Bloodstain clothes of accused.

 PREVIOUS INVOLVEMENTS-
He is previously involved in more than 24 cases.
