Описание: This is the heart of a Presentation Ceremony of new Colours, which happens about every 10-12 years for each Battalion. The Irish Guards received this set of Colours in 1997 and are now marched off Parade to that haunting melody of "Auld Lang Syne". I have to confess that this brought tears to my eyes, bearing in mind that a lot of men died in service of Her Majesty The Queen and the Country and in service of these Colours. A new pair of Colours was given this day by The Queen.
