87 | Virtues of the Sacred Month of Rajab

Описание: In this talk, I reflect on the importance of the sacred month of Rajab and how it marks the beginning of a three-month spiritual journey that unfolds through Shaʿbān and culminates in Ramadan. I share how Rajab invites us to turn inward and to return to stillness, seclusion, reflection, and deep connection with the Divine, just as the revelation of Islam began in the Cave of Ḥirāʾ. I speak about the wisdom of the lunar calendar, the sanctity of the four sacred months, and the inner dimension of fasting as a path to transcending the ego, worldly distractions, and attachments so that the heart may awaken and become present with God.

I also explore the profound meaning of Laylat al-Isrāʾ wa-l-Miʿrāj in Rajab, the immense spiritual opportunity found in rising for worship during the last third of the night, and the essential role of dhikr—remembrance and conscious awareness—in the journey of spiritual transformation.

In this session, I encourage viewers to use this blessed period as preparation for Ramadan by strengthening discipline, renewing devotion, reviving forgotten aspects of Islamic spirituality, and embarking on a sincere journey of inner awakening, divine love, and closeness to Allah.
