Did TVK really win by EVM hack? 🗳️

Описание: After the 2026 results, a claim went viral: "The postal vote leader lost in half the seats, so the EVMs must have been hacked."

So I checked the official ECI results for 2016, 2021 and 2026, covering 11,749 candidates.
What the numbers show:

📮 Postal votes are only about 1 in every 100 votes, and they come mostly from poll-duty staff, service voters and elderly or disabled voters at home.

📉 TVK got 34.9% of all votes but 24.5% by post, a gap of −10.5 points.

📉 In 2016, ADMK got 40.8% of all votes but only 23.2% by post, a gap of −17.5 points, and it still formed the government.

📉 In 2021, the ADMK alliance's gap was −11.4 points.

Every election, some major side does 10–18 points worse with postal voters. The 2026 gap isn't even the biggest.

A postal gap shows who voted by post, not that machines were tampered with. EVMs are checked through VVPAT slip counts and election petitions in court.

Numbers don't take sides. They just add up. ✏️
