Creeping Jenny Ground-cover for Knock Out Roses (Moneywort) // from Campbell's Freedom Farm

Описание: We have all of our roses planted, including our Petite Knockout roses. But with summer right around the corner how are we going to keep their roots cool? Creeping Jenny is a wonderful and stunning ground-cover that not only keeps the roots cool, but suppress the weeds! But it gets better, these are great companion plants to each other. The roses can give a little shade which will help the Creeping Jenny ground-cover from drying out. This ground-cover lives in the sun or in the shade, but it really does not like blazing temperatures on itself. That's why the roses shading them really help.
And remember you do not want a ground-cover that will choke them out, or rot their roots in the wet winter months. Creeping Jenny dies back in the winter, so it will not keep the moister in, and they will not choke the roses out. Other options are Bugleweed, as shown in the photo, and Lamb;s Ear.
