The Blue Water Bridge crosses over the St. Clair River from Port Huron, Michigan to Point Edward/ Sarnia, Ontario. It opened in 1938, with a second span added in 1997. The Fort Gratiot Lighthouse, originally built in 1825, was Michigan and Lake Huron's first lighthouse (second on the Great Lakes). The Huron was an operating lightship from 1920-1970.
