Best Nanyang Coffee Ever! Sungai Pelek Food Hunt

This old-school kopitiam is a long-time local favourite, well known for its classic Chinese coffee shop dishes and comforting flavours that keep people coming back. Their special authentic coffee is one of the best we had! Made from rare Iberica beans. It is definitely better than most popular kopitiam outlets and its worth the travel and time! If you are craving for some classic Nanyang coffee, this is one of the best hands down.

In this video, we drop by Chop Guan Kee Sungai Pelek to try their popular dishes, soak in the nostalgic kopitiam vibes, and see why this place is often packed with both locals and travelers. Simple food, big flavours, and a taste of Malaysian food culture all in one stop.

Besides this, we also went hunting for some light snack. We came across HockChew Guang Bin. A small stall selling Guang Bing or Kompia or some say Foochow bagel. You’ll be surprise by the size of it. A unique traditional bread which is dense, chewy and full of flavour. Highly recommended if you want some light snack along the way.

We end our food hunt by having some great seafood at Cheng Kee Seafood Restaurant. From curry fish head to sambal squid to fresh steamed fish, all the dishes that we had are mouth-watering. Watch along to find out!
After all the food, we also took a stroll along the Bagan Lalang Beach where we saw tons of interesting tiny hermit crabs.

To end the day, we stopped by National Automobile Museum at Sepang International Circuit. A short pit stop to look at our automobile history. We love every minute of it.
