Video Description:

The Brink's-Mat Heist, one of the most audacious robberies in history, began as a planned raid on a warehouse but quickly transformed into a staggering $26 million gold bullion heist. In November 1983, a group of armed robbers, aided by an inside man, broke into the Brink's-Mat security depot near Heathrow Airport, expecting to steal cash but instead stumbling upon a fortune in gold. The gang's struggle to fence the gold triggered a criminal web of betrayal, murders, and international money laundering schemes that forever changed British crime. Decades later, much of the gold remains unaccounted for, and the heist has left a notorious legacy of mystery, intrigue, and unsolved riddles.
