🚛✨ Record week for De Leeuw Kyiv!
Last week we delivered 30 trucks filled with anti-drone nets to Ukraine. Together with our partners Life Guardians, Heaven's Shield, Protect Ukraine and Eyes on Ukraine, we are sending as many tulip-bulb and fishing nets as possible to the frontline.
🕸️ These nets protect roads, vehicles, and trenches — already saving hundreds of lives of soldiers and civilians. At some locations they intercept dozens of drones every single day. This is crucial, as an estimated 70% of fallen Ukrainian soldiers are victims of drone attacks.
🕸️ We have now delivered dozens of square kilometers of nets to Ukraine, which have already been installed at the frontline. In the video 📽 you can see a detailed report from one of our partners in Ukraine, Techiia Foundation.
Thanks to donations from Dutch tulip growers and fishermen, we receive the nets free of charge. But each transport to Eastern Ukraine costs around €3,000. Since the start of the war we have already carried out hundreds of transports, and the demand is only growing.
