We decided at the last minute to have a glamping trip at the Cwmcarn Forest Drive Glamping Pods, Wales. It happened to be the coldest night in late October with it dropping down to freezing in the middle of the night. We managed to stay nice and warm inside the pod as we opted for the furnished pod with double bed and heater, plus we took seasons 3 sleeping bags. I did this trip with my two young sons and we had a blast. Great place to take kids and there are some fantastic walks and trails as well as bike trails and a bike pump track. There is also a great little cafe on site. The camp site has everything you need with a toilet and shower block as well as a small kitchen and laundry although we cooked outside our pod as each pod has a small seating area.
