President Droupadi Murmu’s 4th day of her Odisha visit was a blend of spiritual devotion and nostalgic homecoming. The day began with a soulful 'Darshan' of Lord Jagannath in Puri, where the President spent 45 minutes in prayer. In a touching gesture, she sat on the sacred 'Baishi Pahacha' and later walked on the Grand Road (Bada Danda) to interact with the common people.
The journey continued to her birthplace, Rairangpur in Mayurbhanj. President Murmu visited the Purneshwar Temple—a place where she used to sweep the floors during her days as a teacher. She also spent time at her ancestral home, distributed chocolates to children, and laid the foundation stones for several developmental projects alongside the Governor and Chief Minister.
