Описание: ഇന്ത്യ റഷ്യ പ്രതിരോധ സൗഹൃദത്തിലെ ഏറ്റവും നിര്‍ണായകമായ ബന്ധം അതാണ് എസ് 400. അതേ ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ സിന്ദൂറില്‍ പാക് ആക്രമണങ്ങളെ ഭസ്മമാക്കിയ ഇന്ത്യയുടെ വ്യോമ പ്രതിരോധ സംവിധാനം. ഇപ്പോഴിതാ റഷ്യയുടെ എസ്400 വ്യോമ പ്രതിരോധ മിസൈല്‍ സംവിധാനം കൂടുതല്‍ സംഭരിക്കാന്‍ ഇന്ത്യ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നതായി റിപ്പോര്‍ട്ട്. അഞ്ച് അധിക സ്‌ക്വാഡ്രണുകള്‍ സംഭരിക്കാനാണ് ഇന്ത്യ ഒരുങ്ങുന്നത്. കഴിഞ്ഞ വര്‍ഷം ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ സിന്ദൂറിന്റെ ഭാഗമായി പാക് വിമാനങ്ങളെ പ്രതിരോധിക്കുന്നതില്‍ എസ്400 സംവിധാനം കാഴ്ചവെച്ച മികച്ച പ്രകടനമാണ് ഈ നീക്കത്തിന് പിന്നില്‍ എന്നാണ് പുറത്ത് വരുന്ന സൂചനകള്‍. ഫെബ്രുവരി 28 മുതല്‍ ഇറാനെതിരെ അമേരിക്കയും ഇസ്രയേലും ഓപ്പറേഷന്‍ ഫ്യൂറി എന്ന പേരില്‍ നടത്തിയ വ്യോമാക്രമണങ്ങളും ഇതിനെത്തുടര്‍ന്ന് ഉണ്ടായ ഇറാന്റെ പ്രത്യാക്രമണവും കാരണം പശ്ചിമേഷ്യ സംഘര്‍ഷ ഭരിതം ആയിരിക്കുന്ന സാഹചര്യത്തിലാണ് ഈ നീക്കം എന്നത് ഇവിടെ വളരെ ശ്രദ്ധേയമായ കാര്യവുമാണ്.

The S-400 air defense system is one of the most crucial links in the defence partnership between India and Russia. It is the same air defence system that neutralized Pakistani attacks during Operation Sindoor.

Now, reports suggest that India is preparing to procure more S-400 air defense system units from Russia. The country is planning to acquire five additional squadrons of the missile defence system.

Sources indicate that the move comes after the S-400 system demonstrated strong performance in countering Pakistani aircraft during Operation Sindoor last year.

The decision is also significant as it comes at a time when West Asia is witnessing rising tensions following airstrikes carried out by the United States and Israel against Iran under Operation Fury from February 28, and the subsequent retaliatory attacks by Iran.
