"The SIGIL Megawad is a free download created by John Romero for the original 1993 DOOM®. It contains nine single-player and nine deathmatch levels. The free megawad was released in mid- May 2019 and requires players own the original 1993 registered version of DOOM® in order to play. The SIGIL Megawad is the spiritual successor to the fourth episode of DOOM®, and picks up where the original left off."
(My thoughts)
Back in the day when I was about 13 I played DOOM 1993 for the very first time on my Nintendo Switch. I bought modern ports of DOOM (Yknow the only modern ports at the time before DOOM + DOOM II released) I remember beating the first four episodes of DOOM and then hearing that SIGIL was actually an unofficial fith episode. I do not remember if I actually played it in its entirety or not but I did know it existed. Regardless, Im playing it now because screw it!
