China's 25th naval escort fleet recently performed a military exercise in Indian Ocean waters.
The drill tested the fleet's capabilities of information acquisition, as well as command and control in actual fire situations, according to the officers.
The fleet, consisting of the frigates "Hengyang" and "Yulin" and the depot ship "Honghu", practiced various drills including sea-to-sky searches, reconnaissance and anti-piracy attacks.
