Homelessness is often treated as a housing problem. But what if it is actually a systems design failure within our regional economies?
In this video, I introduce the Living Ecosystem Design (LED) Restoration Framework, a model for rethinking homelessness in Atlanta and across America. Instead of long-term dependency systems, this approach focuses on restoration through productivity, dignity, and economic reintegration.
The framework connects workforce re-entry, micro-enterprise opportunities, housing stabilization, and coordinated public-private investment to help individuals transition from survival to participation in the regional economy.
If cities rethink how their ecosystems function, homelessness can shift from a chronic condition to a restoration pathway back into the productive fabric of the community.
