The Indian community in Belgium and Europe came together to celebrate the sacred Chhath Mahaparv, one of the most spiritual festivals dedicated to Surya Dev (Sun God) and Chhathi Maiya.

From Nahay Khay to Kharna, followed by Sandhya Arghya and Usha Arghya, every ritual was performed with deep devotion by the Bihar-Jharkhand diaspora in Belgium.

During the celebration, a beautiful Madhubani painting was presented to the Brussels Mandir and Indian Embassy officials, Belgium, as a token of cultural pride and tradition. The festival concluded with the offering of Thekua tprasad — a taste of home that connects hearts beyond borders.
