Hi I’m Dan from Holiday Extras, and I’m going to be telling you these 7 things about the Mercure Bowdon.

1. This package includes parking at long stay T2 for the duration of your trip.

The airport is 5 miles away and T2 is a 12 minute drive in good traffic. Pull up to the barrier, collect your token and park your car. Keep your keys and take the shuttle to the airport. For more information about getting to the airport, click the transfers tab.

2. Guests say that the rooms are clean and comfortable, and that standard room have all the essentials, like wifi, a hairdryer and tea and coffee.

3. Wifi is free and guests can stream their favourite shows in their bedrooms.

4. The restaurant serves popular dishes like fish and chips and steaks, which start at £13.95. There are regular money saving deals with the hotel, or when you book in advance with us.

The cafe bar has a large selection of beers, wines and spirits, where a pint costs around £4

5. Breakfast is a Full English and continental buffet, served from 7:30am. The chef makes omelettes on requests, and the coffee is Lavazza.

6. There’s a health and fitness suite with a pool and gym.

7. Finally, here are a couple of pointers to make the most of your stay.

If you need an accessible room, I’d recommend using another hotel, as this hotel’s features are very limited.

An Executive room upgrade is £20, and includes an espresso coffee machine, fresh fruit and hand made biscuits in your room. You’ll also get a robe and slippers, luxury toiletries and bottled water, which I think is a good deal.
