moment, due to the rising
interest in gardening
with native plants. While this simple seed-starting method is an excellent way to grow nearly any hardy plant, it is particularly useful for quickly filling out a pollinator garden with native species that are rarely available at nurseries.
Chloë Bowers, Fine Gardening's forum moderator and Northeast regional reporter, demonstrates her technique of using milk and water jugs for sowing native plant seeds in winter.
