The Michael Schenker Group's debut came at an opportune time. The NWOBHM had just exploded and well-known hard rock stars from the 70s such as Michael Schenker could make a fresh start in the slipstream of that NWOBHM and young hard rock fans (like me at the time) were introduced to the more famous artists like they were new acts.
For many, this debut is the best he's made, or at least it made the most impact on many of Michael's fans.
All his solos in a row, that of "Lost Horizons" is probably the most beautiful thing he has done after UFO.
