Описание: This video follows me through an examination and restoration of a vintage conga made decades ago by Gon Bops of California U.S.A. This is the IC3000 'Super Conga' 10 1/4" model, 30" tall with a mahogany shell. The 4 metal bands on the shell give it a lot of character. It came with the original cow skin head and basket type stand. It had one owner before me so it is an interesting time capsule in terms of looking at drum design from the early American tumbadora maker. Drummers may find some of the minor restoration methods and materials helpful.
