Hi everyone, Aiden here at etrailer. Today we're gonna be taking a look at the etrailer Creeper Seat Toolbox. This is going to be a rolling cart that has three drawers and some side storage all around to store a wide variety of tools. It's got some smooth casters on the bottom so you can sit here, roll around in your garage, and have a good way to work on things closer to the ground a lot more comfortably than kneeling like this. Let's check it out. For long periods of time, having something to sit on and roll around really reduces fatigue and it helps a lot whenever I'm going to be working on my car for a long time.
Now with this, you've got a lot of different storage. The seat pad is very comfortable and the casters are very smooth. One thing I will say about that is that in our garage here, it's not the smoothest floor in the world and there's certainly a lot of obstacles. If this thing catches a zip tie, it's going to be a little bit of an obstacle and especially bumps in the floor, but for a garage at home, I think it's going to be perfectly fine. This is something I could see myself using at my house quite a bit.
Now let's go over the storage here a little bit more in depth. You've got three drawers here that close pretty firmly and I've just loaded these up with a variety of different tools to show you what kind of stuff we're working with. A quarter inch ratchet and a 3/8 ratchet with some Allen key bits for the 3/8 and a bunch of sockets for the quarter inch. These taller sockets do fit in the height of the drawers, but just barely. Anything bigger than that, I think is going to be a bit tough to fit in the drawers with it closing.
And with that support brace right here, I found that sometimes the bottom drawer does catch a little bit, but nothing crazy. The middle drawer, I've tried to fit some larger items like a hammer, a pair of snips, and vise grips. And then the top drawer here, just some channel locks, an adjustable wrench, and a flashlight to have on hand whenever we're working on our car. We might need some better visibility. Now on the side here, we've got two trays, one with an impact and a tape measure.
And as you saw earlier, these trays do fold up and they've got a snap lock ring in place so you can fold them up and keep them folded for easier storage, or if we just don't need it. But when they're folded out like this, they've got a nice wide tray to support some of these larger items and they're fairly stable. Spinning this around, we can see the other one here, I've just laid out a wire tester. And something I do wanna point out about these trays is that they are slightly magnetized. So for something metal like this, it's not going to shift around as much because it does have a slight stick to it. So tools and things that we set in here shouldn't rattle around as much so long as they're metal like this. Now around back is where we've got a bunch more tools. We've got plenty of different screwdrivers with all kinds of holes to support them. We've got a small pry bar, a trim panel tool, needle nose pliers, and a pair of scissors. And those fit in the variety of different holes and slots on the back tray here. So as long as you've got the tools to fit, you've got a lot of options here for storage. One thing I will say back here is that some of your longer items, you've gotta think about clearance from the floor and clearance from this support bar right here. Now let's talk about some measurements that you're working with here. The interior drawer dimensions are going to be 12 and 5 1/8 of an inch long, 7 3/4 of an inch deep, and 2 1/2 inches tall. Again, those are the interior usable dimensions, something to keep in mind. Spinning this around, I do wanna get a measurement from the ground to the top of this tray where we're gonna be storing things like screwdrivers. And it's going to be 8 3/4 of an inch. So as long as our tools are no longer than that, they shouldn't hit the ground. And then for the storage tray on the side here, that's going to be 3 1/2 inches deep and 11 1/2 inches long with a slightly curved edge here, and then a slight lip, which is going to be about an inch tall. For dimensions of the seat pad here, you're gonna be working with 16 1/8 of an inch wide, 9 1/16 of an inch deep. And then for the overall height of that pad, 1/15-16 of an inch tall, almost two inches thick there. And it definitely feels nice. With a 350 pound weight capacity and a steel construction with a b
