Charlotte: ‘The location reminded me of being totally inadequate at sport in school, so it’s nice to be doing my thing in there...
And the song is pretty important to me too because this was one of the first songs we ever wrote together and it’s stuck with me, I’m not too sure why.’
Thomas: ‘April is lyrically one of the most personal tracks we've ever written. It's definitely the most honest I have been in a song. Performing it live for the GOOD BOY! session was really fun but also emotional!'
Tom: ‘“You say it’s all in my head” - that’s my favourite line. It can get pretty ropey when we sing that line live. I think we all get a bit emotional - or something like that. April is one of those songs that has a different meaning for each of us. So happy that the lovely boys from GOOD BOY! did it justice! GoodJob!’
