Описание: The Paseo Bridge's deck has been completely removed. Because it is a self-anchored, suspension bridge, the cables rely on the weight of the structure to keep it steady. Until the cables come off, the demo crew must take it apart methodically -- piece by piece - and maintain balance on the bridge, or it would react much like a teeter totter. This video shows the final sections of bridge deck being removed yesterday.
